Our story begins with a boy named Sean. Sean, like many other boys, was taught that you read only when you have to, you read because your parents told you to, you read because the teacher said so, you don't read because you like reading. 

 

Many years have passed, and Sean, now 19, came across a very special video, a video that changed his life forever. 
In the video, the narrator told a tale about an interview that Bill Gates took part in. 
The interviewer asked Bill "Bill if you could have any superpower you'll like, which superpower would you pick?". 
Sean himself thought about that question many times during childhood, always wishing for the got of flight, or the ability to stop time. However, Bill's answer caught Sean off guard, Bill's answer was "The ability to be the fastest reader in the world". 

 

The narrator continued and explained that when you read a book you subconsciously absorb some of the author's mindsets and values by meiosis. You can go out and work hard to build your own business, but in contrast, you can by a book about the centuries greatest, and learn about their mental maps, about their thinking patterns, about their actions. 
On that day, Sean understood the true gift of reading. 

 

Since that day Sean has read countless books, in the realms of business, psychology, evolution and much much more. Sean has made it his goal to pass the gift of reading to people around the world, and he decided to create Books R Us IL as his vehicle for doing so.
